The International Association of Natural Medicine
The international association of natural medicine (IANM) is an inclusive professional organisation, multidisciplinary and international.
After the Second World War migrants from south Asia came to Europe and United Kingdom. These communities brought diversity of cultures, ways of life and, wisdom based, traditions of health and medicines such Ayurveda and Unani-tibb with them to Europe and United Kingdom. In the sixties there was an association of Veds and Hakims called association of Ayurveda and Unani medicine.
Later eastern medicine practitioners association (EMPA) evolved to provide services to wider communities.
IANM has been incorporated to meet increasing needs of people who are seeking care and services of well trained, experienced and ethical physicians of natural medicine.
IANM values and promotes diversity of natural health care traditions, with particular promotion and development of traditional Unani-tibb medicine as a natural alternative healthcare.
